Senn & Sons is a San Francisco-based business headed by artist Kimberly Senn, a Midwestern girl with a nomadic heart. Launched in 2011 with original and custom triptych paintings, Senn & Sons has expanded to include fine art prints, with more new products to come.

After spending nearly a decade making ads in Minneapolis, New York, London and San Francisco, Kimberly left her high heels behind to become a full-time mom and pursue her art. What began as creating a unique artwork for her son’s nursery turned into a small business, and Kimberly now splits her time between working part-time from her home studio near the beautiful Presidio National Park and spending the rest of her time taking care of her two-year-old son (with another baby on the way).

Senn & Sons’ playful, modern and graphic artwork is a favorite for kid’s rooms, but grown-up enough to be at home in any room of the house.

This blog is a collection of ideas, projects, places and experiences related to these creative pursuits. Please enjoy. Don’t be shy and come back often.

(Brooke Bryand is the genius who made Kimberly look way less dorky in these photos than she is in real life.)
